I have seen thousands of Squarespace websites while researching for Website Inspiration pieces. One thing that irks me in the process is looking at Squarespace’s default gray cube favicon.
About ten of the approximately fifty Squarespace websites I opened recently had the default gray cube favicon.
A website without a custom favicon looks unprofessional and off-brand, often giving the first impression of a poorly designed website. So change it!
Here’s how you add a favicon in Squarespace:
Step 1: Log in to your Squarespace account and go to Settings
Step 2: Click On “Browser Icon” Under Website
Step 3: Upload Your Favicon/Browser Icon
That’s it.
