I would definitely recommend it! I used to have Squarespace up until a year ago when I found 22Slides. I liked how it offered me flexibility on how to lay out my artwork since I do both photography and video - something Squarespace is lacking. I also liked that it offered different, but just as nice templates compared to Squarespace because so many of my peers use Squarespace and our websites tend to look super similar. The prices are great too. Their customer service is extremely attentive as well. Overall, I really recommend them!
I'm using 22slide and I'm very happy. I find it very practical, with good possibilities to show my work. It is very simple to customize within your configuration panel, taking into account that I do not have knowledge in web programming. Your Add Ons options are also very good. Maybe it would be good to incorporate some form of to be able to show / search within a stock of photos. For the rest it is very useful.
I love it
I was using 22Slides but moved to Zenfolio. I would not use 22Slides because it was too limiting. Zenfolio is a lot better for what I do.
I use 22 Slides. It’s a good, basic portfolio website. I desperately need to update my site, but 22 makes it easy. It has some templates to choose from with some customization and you can code HTML if you know what you’re doing as well. It’s a cheap and simple website tool. Pretty sure it’s run by one guy and he always responds quickly any time I’ve had a problem or question.
22Slides is an awesome platform that I highly recommend, especially if you are just starting out and need an easy platform to share images etc. We have since upgraded to a Wordpress based site but still currently have our 22slides website as we have not yet fully transitioned.
I am using 22slides and have been for around 4 - 5 years now! Personally it fits my needs and is incredibly easy to customize. The customer service is second to none as well. For $10 per month you can't really go wrong either. I would highly recommend it to others looking for a portfolio site.
I would recommend 22Slides. It is pretty simple to use and it looks good. It isn’t as customizable as I would like, but its nice that there is only one $10 month fee and nothing else in terms of upgrades and paying a year in advance.
When I first start using, All I was looking for is simplicity. 22slide is perfect for it. They tell you step by step how to set it up. And it’s easy to use. I love the clean look, definitely recommend it.
I would very much recommend 22Slides. I’m not too tech savvy and the customer service has been amazing and very helpful. I would recommend them to anyone like me.
I do recommend it however if you don't mind spending a couple extra dollars I would recommend Squarespace as it has more options. I've just been a bit too busy to switch over but I do recommend 22 for a more basic option.
I like 22Slides a lot, and would recommend it. Easy to set up and maintain. Lots of customization available too, and support has always been great. The cost is very reasonable. I switched to 22Slides from a standard host where I built and maintained the entire site myself - I would not go back.
I do like 22 slides website I love the how easy it was to customize. The only issue I have with the 22slides is the type face can’t be customized. It’s a great starter portfolio website for all creatives, I give it 5 stars.
I’ve been using it a couple of years and love it. Is super easy to update and add content, and I like how the images and posts are displayed. Lots of options as well 😊
I absolutely would. 22slides does everything I want it to, and is pretty cheap compared to squarespace or format or whatever other photographers are using these days. My only gripe is that there's a photo limit, which I don't really understand for a paid service, but it took me over five years worth of shoots to reach it.
I used 22 slides for at least 4 years and I served me extremely well for that time. I just recently felt like I needed a change and was looking for more layout options and customizability. If you’re looking for something that is simple and straightforward than I would recommend 22slides, yes.
I think 22slides is a great website. I originally made my website when I had no experience in doing so and it was extremely easy to use and also easy to customize. It’s a great starter website for an easy and cheap, yet professional first website. Highly recommend.
I coded my previous website and while it looked how I wanted it was always a pain to have to spend time updating it and felt like I was taking my day job home with me. After spending a lot of time searching and using trials to several other platforms I came across 22slides. 22slides is the only portfolio service I would recommend. It’s very intuitive and the support staff has been incredibly helpful. The designs matched the minimalist aesthetic I was going for to keep the site more about the photography/art.
22 Slides is wonderful. They do not compress your image, nor goof up the color space. It is easy to use, and they have reflection servers all of the world, so content downloads regionally fast.
I highly recommend 22 slides for portfolio websites. I bounced from two other company before I found 22 slides. So far is been the easiest to update, change and manage for someone who has no background in website divide by myself. I’ve had a lot of positive responses with this website versus any of the other incarnations I’ve had with previous websites with companies like WIX. I mean it only cost me about 10 bucks a month to maintain it and is not difficult to add a custom web address. It’s also not very difficult to incorporate add-ons like wufuu or any other social media links .
I would highly recommend it. I am not web savvy at all and their platform is simple to use and easy to make it look good. I'm actually about to start offering prints for sale and going to be using their paypal add on to start doing so, i'm pretty excited!
I’m using 22Slides. It’s fairly basic but that’s what I was after. I do recommend them, no problems after 2 years of use.
I've been a 22slides customer for about 4 years and can honestly say I am very happy. The requirements to run my website, admittedly, aren't terribly state-of-the art. I need a good, functional design module that allows me to make the periodic changes necessary for content updates, and that's about it! The support staff has been extremely helpful ( and timely ) when I have a question, which isn't often. I haven't looked at other options, so I'm afraid I don't have a comparison to make. It works, I like the looks of my site. I'm happy.
For sure I recommend it! I’ve been using 22slides for 5 years now, and still love it.
The control panel is very well taste design and simple to use. Never had a problem with them and even when I was having ANY kind of issue making the website the way I wanted, they were very fast with the responses.
It's very simple and effective. No crazy bells and whistles. If you already have social media pages liek tumblr, instagram, flickr, they inegrate well and can populate site pages for you.
The price is right compared to buying a hosting plane and domain name etc etc. The only thing wordpress has on 22slides, imo, is that it's more customizeable and has plugins that can do anything for you.
22slides is a no bs, make a site in a day that looks good and be done kind of thing. I liked that. But I do miss wordpress complexity sometimes. But I saved a lot of time.
For me is works, but like any site it has it's pros and cons.
Pro's I like that it is only $10 a month and that it pulls all my photos from Flickr so I can upload and organize them on flicker and they are automatically on my website. People give me good feedback about the site and it is pretty easy to set up and use.
Con's it is very limited in design options and functions, you cannot have multiple domain attached to your site.
I have made it work for my needs but I have been designing website for over 10 years and have lots of practice. I only have to update it on the occasion that something big changes. I did a lot of testing and research to find a site so I did not have to be constantly upload my photos in multiple place. It is great if you want a simple photography site.
I really enjoy using 22slides. I’ve been using it for a few years now and have no complaints.
I personally have been thinking about changing up my site and rearranging it to showcase my different types of work. So hopefully it will still work for me!
Any specific information you’d like to know feel free to ask!
22Slides has been great for the past couple years. Its easy to setup, and they have some good options for emerging photographers. However I am transitioning over to Photofolio the next couple months. There is way more customization and sleeker layouts. I would highly recommend you check it out.
Overall, I can highly recommend 22Slides if you are looking for a basic website that accomplishes 99% of your needs. The question is, what are your needs?
I have constructed many of my friend's websites using 22Slides as the host (for myself, other photographers, fashion designers, makeup artists and rental studios).
My primary reasons for using 22Slides are:
• clean and simple graphics and layouts • good customer service • lots of online info to answer any of your inquiries ( http://help.22slides.com/, http://blog.22slides.com/) • ease of construction, with many design options • very affordable price per month
I would recommend 22 Slides, their site builder interface has a real nice flow with a modern feel and appearance. It's straight forward, easy to navigate and the custom code tools work well. My only issues are the font selection is limited, images cannot be uploaded at full size, and the mobile interface is limited to a certain default template and users can't change the mobile presentation much. Besides that I'm happier than I was with a lot of the other site builders I've tried. When I've had any problems their customer service was top-notch and responded quickly with solutions that work.
I used to use the website tool with 500px, after that company sold out and became another corporate stock image pusher with ridiculously high membership fees I stopped using their service and cancelled my membership two years ago and have been using 22 slides since.
I’ve been using 22slides for a couple years now and have to say I am very pleased with it. I found the website while looking at another photographers page and fell in love with the simplicity of it.
I used to use Wix and decided I didn’t want to put the effort into building my own website because I am a photographer and not a graphic designer. I can’t speak on behalf of Wix today, but when I used it, the already made layouts had too much going on.
22slides is great for people looking to put as little effort into their website as possible! All of the layouts are simple yet elegant. The image uploading process is super easy and if you are feeling up to changing the look of your site, you can do so with a couple clicks of a button. The customer service may be my favorite part about the site. If you don't know how to do something, or want to add some fancy feature to your site, just email the company! They respond generally within 24 hours and give you a step by step process. You can add Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc links at the bottom of your site. I used to have my dropbox synced as well which allowed clients to view/download their photos online with a link through my website.
There are probably so many great features I don't even know about. I honestly put as little time into my website as possible and this is something I am trying to change this year! Hopefully I'll learn more about what my website host has to offer so I can use it to it's full potential.
I can definitely say I'd refer 22slides to all friends/professionals looking for a website host.
I consider myself not very tech savvy and honestly 22 slides has been so incredibly easy for me to use!! My website is a simple portfolio style, but I get compliments on it all of the time. This week I actually intend on setting up the shopping cart so I can start selling my items… and they’re extremely affordable!!! Not to sing their praises too loudly but for me 22slides made the intimidating website task a piece of cake!
I would recommend it for a few reasons:
- Affordable at USD10/month with excellent customer service. They're very responsive and helpful in solving any issues I may potentially have when using the platform. - The drag and drop features are very easy to master and use. If you're a coder, you can customize the existing templates in their custom code section so the designs are boundless. - Optimized for SEO. - Hi-resolution display. The designs are made to showcase photographs at its optimum quality, which I love as a photographer.
The only flaw is the limited amount of photos we're allowed to upload, which is capped at 1K photographs, and there're restrictions on the max size allowed per photo (12MB if I'm not wrong).
I would, it's simple to use & their customer service is awesome - always responds quickly and are very helpful.
I love the site. It is so great for photographers. The guy who designed it, Bryan, is amazing and I have emailed him a few times with issues I have had. If you work as a photographer I recommend it over wordpress hands down because of the ease of use and stability.
Yes I would. Its great and they are very responsive with answers to any questions.
I would highly recommend it. It is relatively easy to work with and reasonably priced.
I love it! Its very fairly priced at $10/month and easy to use, yet has sophisticated features.
I’ve been using 22 slides for years and i love it! Super easy, affordable, customizable. Would highly recommend
I really like their platform but I am switching to squarespace.
I would definitely recommend it! As for their support, I can’t think how it could possibly be better.
i would recoment it:) it is great and simple to use. Only thing that you cant do is make good optimization for SEO. Or put any plugins.
I really enjoy it. Very easy to use and clean.
I’ve had no complaints for the past five years! It’s pretty straightforward and clean.
I do like 22slides- I can update it in under 5 minutes, in any category, including changing the template design, bground color, etc. Easy, intuitive user interface, and cheap (10.00 per month).
I like the website, it’s easy to use and clean looking :)
I strongly recommend 22slides.com. It is not well known, but 22slides is really easy to use, offers quick and efficient support, with frequent updates... And one (only one) plan. Quite simple, as easy as using the service. So far, after 4 years, I am 100% satisfied.
But maybe I sould not emphasize its excellence... too much customers, and everything could get complicated...?
absolutely! I've been using 22slides for about four years now, & I love it.
It's incredible. 100% would recommend. Easy to set up, maintain and navigate!
Could not be happier with them. Great company. Fantastic customer service. Good price. It just works!
I absolutely love it! It’s very easy to use. Everyone who’s ever visited my website loves everything about it. I’ve had it for a few years now and I wouldn’t change it for anything else.
It’s great! Definitely would recommend.
it's perfectly fine, easy to use, quite a few options and not too pricey. So far so good!
I love it. For a basic portfolio that retains details in my images and for $10 a month, it cant be beat!
I would definitely recommend it.
I would highly recommend it. It works perfectly for my business since I only need to showcase my work.
I would recommend it because if you need a fast site setup for a good price $10/month..they're the place to go.
We are very pleased with 22slides and have 3 sites through them. Yes we would recommend it.
Absolutely recommend it. The versatility with the design tools is awesome. I tried both 4ormat & 22Slides and i'd go with 22Slides.
I would recommend it. I've used it for about 3 years and it's very easy and looks great.
Been using 22slides since 2013 and absolutely love it & they are super helpful with all my questions/needs :)
would highly recommend it. It is relatively easy to work with and reasonably priced.
I would recommend 22slides. It’s simple to setup and maintain
def would reccomend it. Easy to use, perfect for photography portfolio, cheap, very good customer service. I used to be on wix-it was painful in comparison.
