29 Examples Of Trustable Plumbing Websites

The best plumbing websites effectively address potential customers’ needs by combining engaging content and user-friendly design.

Content-wise, top plumbing websites showcase:

  1. High-quality images or videos of the team (to build trust and human connection) and projects (to showcase expertise).
  2. Persuasive copy on key pages (About, Services, Home, Testimonials, Emergency Services, Contact, etc.) and at suitable positions. For example, a contact number at the top or service area(s) in the hero section.
  3. Credibility-enhancing elements like testimonials, reviews, and trust badges.

For user-friendly web design, they feature:

  1. A clear visual hierarchy, including prominent CTAs (typically at the top-right in the navigation bar, at the center of the hero section, etc.).
  2. Professional, readable font choices, such as the top Serif of Sans-serif fonts like Roboto or Montserrat.
  3. A good color scheme that represents the brand best.
  4. A polished, responsive design for seamless browsing.

These are the basics of any local services website, and that’s all you need for your plumbing company’s website. No one will come to your website for fancy transitions and animations — they just want to know that you can do the job, are trustworthy, and how to contact you. Give it to them, like these plumber websites do:

Tip: Use ← and → arrow keys to browse.

Edwards Plumbings’ website is pretty much the ideal one to replicate for creating a successful plumbing website. They nail everything from web design structure and content hierarchy to image quality and color scheme.

Let’s examine its homepage from a visual hierarchy standpoint:

The content is supported by a consistent color scheme and easily-readable fonts. They also nail the little things — for example: a Top button appears as you scroll. It takes you to the top of the website if, at any point, you decide to contact the company.

Overall, it’s the perfect plumbing website for inspiration.

Screenshot of Circle Plumbing and Heating, from the plumbing websites collection.

Circle’s website doesn’t look as visually pleasing as the previous one, but I like the structure of this website a bit better.

The previous one had a couple of extra sections on the homepage (though later in the visual hierarchy, so it doesn’t matter) — Circle’s website puts everything essential above the fold:

Though the overall website looks less visually pleasing than the Edwards Plumbing website, it is a good design. It has a consistent color scheme, good photos, an appropriate parallax scrolling effect, and legible fonts.

Screenshot of Jimmy Joe

This website is very similar to the previous one in terms of structure. Everything crucial is immediately visible: potential customers can see reviews, company history, etc., and quickly call them to get plumbing services.

I like their reviews section very much — well-designed, categorized, and real-time.

They also have a nice blog section showcasing their expertise with informational articles like “Warning Signs a Water Heater Needs to be Replaced”, “How to Prevent Tree Roots from Ruining Sewer Lines”, etc.

Screenshot of MNS Plumbing, from the plumbing websites collection.

MNS Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is a licensed and insured plumbing company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. They provide professional and affordable plumbing services to residential and commercial properties in Anthem, Arizona.

This website uses the same template as Jimmy Joe’s Plumbing. It has the exact same sections and similar content: a short bio, an informational blog, a license number, a BBB Accredited badge, nice photos of the owner, etc.

However, it fails to showcase any social proof in the first half of the website. It has 100+ nice reviews across Google, Facebook, and Yelp, but the website doesn’t show them until after you’ve scrolled half the website landing page, making for a less conversion-friendly website.

Screenshot of Chambliss Plumbing Company, from the plumbing websites collection.

Kevin and Kathy Chambliss founded their family-owned plumbing company in 1991. Today, Chambliss Plumbing Company has a fully licensed, insured, and in-house-trained team of plumbers serving the San Antonio area.

This website has a corporate feel yet maintains they are your neighborhood, family-owned plumbers by having photos of the family and the team throughout the website. Additionally, the branding of this website is on-point — everything from text and buttons to coupon codes and mini animations is consistent with brand colors, fonts, and overall style. It’s definitely professionally made.

Screenshot of Impetus Plumbing and Heating, from the plumbing websites collection.

Impetus Plumbing & Heating serves West Vancouver, North Vancouver, Vancouver, Richmond, Delta, Burnaby, and Coquitlam areas.

I like almost everything about this website — the slideshow of photos of the plumbers doing the job, the CTAs, the well-placed reviews section, well-designed individual pages, the short bio…almost everything. I even like that the design consistency. But…

I am not sure of the color choice here. It sure is unique, but it doesn’t look like a plumbing website at first glance. A plumbing website should focus more on professionalism and trustworthiness, rather than being flashy or stylish. Though, they have nearly 300 5-star Google reviews, so there’s that.

Screenshot of Aloha Plumbing, from the plumbing websites collection.

Aloha Plumbing provides residential plumbing services and emergency service calls in Round Rock, Georgetown, Hutto, and surrounding areas of Austin, Texas. They specialize in repair work and have licensed plumbers on staff, with the team led by Texas Master Plumber Charles Jerred Shurbet and Journeyman Plumber Brendan Myers.

It’s not a visually WOW website, but it nails gaining visitor trust with reviews: The subtitle of the website is a review, there’s a right-center floating review icon badge that reveals reviews on click, almost immediately after the hero section the website has this well-designed review section:

I especially like they used the reviewers’ photos.

Screenshot of Aspen Mountain Plumbing, from the plumbing websites collection.

I don’t like the color scheme of this site much, but there’s a lot I like: The CTAs are on-point; the copy surrounding those CTAs, like “We are open” is excellent; the family photo and reviews widget above the fold instills trust immediately; and I love the “Send us your plumbing issue (with images)” feature of the website! Most other things are well-designed as well.

Screenshot of George Plumbing Co., Inc., from the plumbing websites collection.

George Plumbing Co., Inc. was founded in 1947 by George F. Saliba, a master plumber in San Antonio, Texas. Today, the company continues to operate based on Mr. Saliba’s goals and beliefs, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and confidence.

The auto-playing hero video on this website is unique. It follows the “show, don’t tell” rule by showing a well-cleaned and maintained tap smoothly releasing water, but I am unsure about its effectiveness.

Besides, they can improve a few things on the website. For example, apart from the technical errors on the website building part, it has too many menu and submenu options; the stock photos don’t look good; the all-centered text is not ideal; etc.

Learn from their mistakes — don’t repeat them when making your website.

Screenshot of Hazlett Plumbing LLC, from the plumbing websites collection.

Hazlett Plumbing also follows the “show, don’t tell” rule with its landing page video. But it’s an overall better website than the previous one because it doesn’t make the same mistakes — Hazlett uses a minimal menu, concise text, and original photos.

Screenshot of Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing, from the plumbing websites collection.

Jim Dandy Sewer & Plumbing is Seattle’s oldest and most reliable sewer repair company. They have been serving the area since 1908 and have the largest fleet of heavy equipment to handle any job.

For a company with roots going back over a century ago, this website is very bland. They can do so much with a good story, photos, and more — instead, they don’t even have an About page.
