The SiteZulu website editor is a simple drag and drop editor. Elements in the sidebar are dropped into either the footer or the body of the page— from there the page can be structured through column elements. It's simple and easy to understand.

I found the editor to be a bit confusing at times. When hovering elements on the page, lots of different icons will pop-up but it’s seldom clear what each element does. (It turns out there are several different icons that all “edit” the element. The editor would be less confusing if the same edit icon was used consistently.)
Right: Four icons popping out.
There are a number of other unpolished things I noticed, for example some elements (such as text boxes) can’t be moved (unless you click their icon first). Also the editor could be very slow at times (pressing undo once would take about 5 seconds to process— and sometimes wouldn't actually undo anything). Overall, SiteZulu’s website editor is simple but unpolished.

You can pay to upgrade to Professional which they claim includes ecommerce but the upgrade only gets you a Paypal button (which you could embed for free using Paypal's free embed code äó_ ). Asking people to upgrade to use Paypal is a bit lame: Paypal is not ecommerce, it's just a simple pay button (full ecommerce means on site checkout, product variations, customizable email receipts etc.).
Full form builder that lets you add a variety of fields, including: date, email, password, checkbox, multiple choice, paragraphs, text inputs and more. Email submissions are sent to an email address, but not stored in anywhere else (so make sure you don't delete those emails!). While you can customize the submit button text, you can't customize success messages, error messages or what page is shown after a successful form submission. Show Screenshot

Uploaded images were not sharp and crisp on retina screens (ie: Macbooks, iPhones).

Technically you can add a Paypal donation button but this is not a donation system— a full donation system should include checkout and email receipt customization.
There is a Soundcloud element but no audio player.

There are 35 themes to choose from. Themes are pretty nice. They don’t look outdated, but they're not as contemporary as themes from website builders such as Weebly or Squarespace.

I was able to pay and cancel Sitezulu— although cancellation requires you to send an email to their support instead of allowing you to cancel in the admin area.
