I can truely recommend Allyou.net.
Fast support, nice layouts, easy handeling. I am happy with everything.
It's ok for a quick online presence but I think there are better ones out there. It's a little bush league and quirky in my opinion. I'm self employed and have been for years so I don't rely on it for new work really. If so, I'd probably step my game up. I rate it a sold 3 of 5 stars.
I have been using all you for a couple of years now. As for price you really can't beat it If you are looking for something simple or first-time portfolio builders. AllYou will take a minute to get up to speed. Downside very limited in optimizations and where/how content is presented. The custom CSS feature works sometimes, tends to have strange results.
i've been using all.you for 5 years and for me it's easy to use, i can modify easily my contents and it allows you to built a site with many different beautiful template and fonts and the cost is affordable. Sometimes I find some bugs in it that should be solved. Despite all I recommend it!
I'm using AllYou for three years now and at this moment, for me, is the best in terms of quality/price. Of course, it has restriction, you can't change the css code or you only can select between a couple of fonts. But the design is so clean for a portfolio website. Two months ago i looking for anothers platforms but some are very expensive or the templates are very popular, so common. If I ever had any question, they help me quickly. I have never had problems with downfall server or things like this. I don't demand much either, I only need a organized website and responsive for all of devices.
I like it, but of course it has limited functionality for someone like me that is looking for a website that is all encompassing. But as far as displaying your portfolio it’s nice.
Allyou works well for my Intentions. Once installed (5 years ago) I attach Link to my CV, Cover letzter or Job submissioms. Maybe there is something cheaper out there but I don‘t want to set up everything new ...
Allyou is good for a clean template, but it's not manual enough for what I am trying to do. It didn't allow me to have a drop down menu of my separate projects, and I needed that feature for my growing portfolio. It also didn't allow folders. It has crashed twice in the past year or so, where the entire server was down.
Im quite happy with that. And I would recommend it. Its a serious company. Very good for photogrphers, since you probably seen alot of photogapher websites at Allyou.. Im a filmmaker witth Videos.. so it is ok what they have but i wish they would do a bit more for video .
I found it somehow complicated to build it; some of the steps are unnecessarily complex. It took me patience and help from geek friends. But once you get it, it’s ok. I easily manage to feed the contents and uptodate my staff.
I have been using AllYou fort he past couple of years and I think its a good and solid portfolio builder. They are constantly improving the usability and its a small team of people based in Switzerland who understand what creatives need. There may be some limitations, but if you are looking for something stylish and portfolio first, then this is a good choice.
I'd recommend AllYou as a quick way to get your work online if you need something fast, but I plan to moving to another platform or just working up my own website.
i am a new AllYou User. I just decided two month ago to build my portfolio site with Allyou instead of paying a Webdesinger for a Redesign of my website i had bevore.
So i would Recommend it to everyone who just wants to present his/her work. It is very easy to use and i am happy with the result.
it was very easy to build, and maintain. I haven’t used other new portfolio builders since I used this a few years ago, so I’m not sure how it stacks up to the competition. The customer service is always great, and can explain things simply for the technologically inept, or in detail to the more advanced users.
I've been using AllYou for a very long time, and honestly initially I picked it because it had a really good free version. After that I started paying $12 monthly to host the site with them using my own domain, and the experience has been fine.
However, I became also a Wordpress developer so I could change my site to be hosted in my own hosting, and without the need of a platform like AllYou, Squarespace, Semplicelabs and other similar websites. So, if you ask me, it's a good tool to build your own site if you don't know much about development, but there are some other sites that look really interesting like the ones I mentioned above.
I thought it was the best in this time, 5 years ago.
I don't know about now.
I've been using Allyou portfolio for a while and so far I like it and would recommend :)
When I was looking for a portfolio builder to use I tried to find one which wouldn't be too expensive to maintain and also one with more flexibility. With allyou I am able to build as many pages as I want, put videos, gifs, images, and I could personalise almost everything. The only thing I saw was not so good was that it became a little bit slow after I put all my work in it, but it was also a long time ago (I've just been updating ever since and it seemed ok), they probably fixed it by now. And sometimes the page configuration changed out of the blue and I had to keep organising it again. I think because they are a small company these issues were still being fixed when I joined and probably got fixed over time. Another thing I like is that students can use it free of charge if their university is listed in their database - just need to join with the uni email. In sum, I think it is a pretty good portfolio builder (it is not the best of all but is it legit).
I used to use Allyou and was quite happy with it, even if I never quite understood their logic of pages, news ect :-) I can recomend it for simple portfolio websites. A minus is, that you have to use the same design for all the pages of the website.
My current website is built with cargo2. I takes longer to build the site, mainly because you have much more possibilities for customazition and personal design. And – the reason I changed to cargo2 – you can build a much more complex site structure, which I missed with Allyou.
I would recommend it.
I was recommended to use allyou.net because it is so simple to use. So with minimum enfort you can get maximum benefit.
To me the website it says just an index of projects I be been done, so allyou.net has the perfect balance for me.
I did use it a couple years ago, for my Minimorning portfolio( a little dead now). I loved it actually, the best what I found: quick, accessible, simple layout and very easy to modify - exactly what I wanted. I remember trying Squarespace but it was too complex.
AllYou was great when we first started using it back in 13. Today the code running the portfolio builder seems a bit out of date and organizing images in galleries can be a bit of a pain, as one has to upload images scaled to fit page settings, before it looks good. Overall we've been happy with the service, but wouldn't recommend it. A portfolio builder like square space is by far, a better option, given its possibilities and code, which automates the process of organizing galleries far better than AllYou.
I’m using AllYou. Basically I can recommend it, nice templates, pretty easy to use, though the UI could be a bit more smooth.
I made several websites with them. They are very easy to build. A child could almost do it. And their service is also very quick and helpfull. I only needed help 2 or 3 times because I made some wrong settings. And they where very quick to fix it for me.
There are features which are a bit more difficult to use (e.g. image uploader). Considering changing to squarespace because it seems more current and updated.
I got a recomendation from a friend and AllYou has been rather easy to use and has many portfolio options. So I would recommend it.
No I would not recommend it because in my eyes it is not the complete package such as e.g. squarespace.
Actually I am moving my wedding website from AllYou to Squarespace in the next weeks.
i am satisfied for what i expect from a webdesign tool .. i could use some tools better and am sure, nowadays there are sites which offer more features for the same price, but it's OK.
I like the vertical scrolling they have. Certainly their interface, once you get used to it, is intuitive and you can build pretty quick galleries. I would like more of an ability to build galleries with thumbnails rather than as groups of images, if that makes sense, but certainly the layout and the price work well for me.
I'm using allyou.net platform for my portfolio. And I like it. I was searching for simple design, without all these crazy sliders and found it here. I also like that the template I use give me the opportunity to organize all my shootings well: very structured without mixing everything. I'm also satisfied with the mobile version they did. And in general the template has good options to customize it.
So I'm totally recommend to use this platform)
in general I can recommend AllYou totally, but will change my website-supplier.
As a Graphic Designer I am using the Adobe Creative Cloud and the have a tool there called Portfolio which is included in my subscription. I will switch to their system because it´s no more cost for me and and will be synchronized with behance.net. As soon as I find some time.
I’m not really happy about all you net. I’d like to have a more clear site, more simple template with just one big image per site and i'm still wondering if I should build a nice one myself or switch to squarespace.
it was easy to build and i must admit, i do not change a lot. i should, but no time. once i wanted to change the host and could not get a decent reply. so if you do it, make sure you have a PERSON that you can contact in any event.
I am not so sure, I have my website since 5 years and was happy at the beginning, but how everything is changing quite fast, I feel like moving to something different. I would like to have other tools,.. It depends always for what, etc..
here my opinion
+++ - Easy to use Portfolio Builder - Nice Design Template - Custom Fonts @Fontface implementation limited to 2 different font - Fast to lern (We've built our site with lots of content in about 1 Week)
— — - Limited customs options - Poor support - The admin console is slow and sometimes hangs - Google Analytics is implemented but the code is not were is supposed to be, so Google webmaster tools can’t authenticate the Domain. AllYou has no interest in fixing it.
To sum it up: AllYou is O.K, you can build a nice looking website then after 1 year or so you’ll want to move to another service.
I'm having some little problems in this period but in general I can recommend it. I'm also using Squarespace for other 2 website and it is very easy and with nice graphics, maybe also better.
I am currently looking for something else. So the question is already answered, I wouldn’t recommend it really, I think it should be possible to make all these things easier for someone to use it. Also I asked them about SSL or something similar, like optimizing for google search one year ago and then they did not offer that. One year later, they still don’t have more things to offer, so if I will have time, I will change from all you to somebody else.
I like it. It’s very simple and you can customize a lot. There are only minor things I would change, f.ex. I perceive a slight color change of my pictures when I upload them...
I chose between a lot of different portfolio sites, but picked Allyou because one simple reason. Scaling and auto-resizing. Most other sites I tried scaled down and resized my images automatically with noticeable quality loss. Not Allyou. Other sites have a lot more to offer price-wise and functions, but this aspect was key for me and my detail-heavy work, that's why I preferred Allyou.
Well, I´m happy with this platform but of course, it could be better, one of the negative things is that you can not upload videos or files, only images and sometimes it would be cool to have the chance to upload other files. Actually, I´m thinking about to change to other company, but generall it´s not that bad, it works fine and quick, ist very simple, if you just want to upload images and portfolio it perfect.
I did compare some others before I did go with allyou. ( maybe now 2 years after others did improve and are better now ..I don’t know ) I think for photographers it’s a good option with sleek layouts….. probably there are others easier to handle in the building process…it takes some time and concentration to make something good. Uploading images is a bit restricted ( you can’t have certains letters and signs in the image discription etc so you need to bee VERY precise to get your images uploaded )
service is good and reactive.
I'd recommend. Very easy to update and publish. I don't typically have the time to work on my own portfolio, so I like the fact that it only takes me a couple of minutes to make a change or update something. Very user friendly.
I'm very happy with this service. Before this platform i've used Wordpress and I haved a lot of problems.
If you want an easy platform don't doubt.
I can recommend allyou as far as you look for a easy tepmlate based website who you can create and change on your won without much of experience. When u are using the free Allyou Service you have to know that your homepage has the ending: allyou.org Sometimes i wish to control more and change things that just isnt possible... but i like it that it also support mobile viewing.
I can definitely recommend it!
For me as a student it es free of charge and very easy to creat a website for me as an artist. I never had any problems with allyounet and using it for 3 years now.
It really worked well for me. I'm not really good on web/computer themes, so I just found it years ago, and was really easy to use, nice templates, and simple ones to create a neutral web design, so I would probably recommend it. Probably they are better sites, or cheaper, but I'm happy with it.
I am actually pretty happy with it. I haven't spend much time in customizing it, so I don't know how it is and how easy it is to change much things on the website. I have changed very little and used a template they already have. Right now I am happy with it, so don't plan to change but have already suggested it to friends :)
I was looking for a simple and nice-looking website for a while and a friend of mine recommended me. I really like it, the interface is easy to use and to edit and the templates fit my style and the designs are original.
i would recommend it. the service is great for people like me" who don't know much about how to make a website look ok.
and also if you have a question and don't know how to go on when something doesn't work the admins will answer very fast and helpful.
I am very happy with allyou.net.
As an artist I intentionally chose allyou because I like the portfolios they offer. They are artistic and unique.
When I had issues with changes and features I had no problems reaching support via Email.
I actually know the people who are behind Allyou quite well (disclaimer: I used to work there myself a few years ago) and one of the reasons why I really recommend using it, is knowing how much time, love and dedication goes into developing the product and providing personal support to the users.
The platform has grown organically over the past few years, without the help of great marketing budgets or a lot of manpower. That's mostly because of the community of creative people who are using and recommending the service. You can find some cool examples on the website
I do like the service, although there are a lot of technical issues, for example, some images disappearing completely from the folio and the site crashing on mobile. It’s possible someone with more technical knowledge would be able to customise it better than I have. So I would personally recommend over cargo or behance, but there are some shortcomings in my specific template.
AllYou is alright but if I had to do it again, I would use WIX ( cheaper, very easy to build with better features). I find Allyou a bit bland and pretty expensive, plus they deleted all my data ( text, pics) when my payment didn't come through as I moved country. So I had to start again from scratch.
I would recommend AllYou. It’s inexpensive and I found the templates easy to use and modify. I needed to get a simple portfolio site up and post my resume quickly, and I’m pretty clueless about building websites. I haven’t needed much customer service, but they have been friendly and quick to respond.
I highly recommend it, it’s easy to manage. Especially when you don’t want to worry about coding or anything like that. It’s not as customizable as other portfolio websites but I feel like the themes they have are quite good looking and require only little customizing. They have different level payment plans depending on what you need for yourwebsite which you can pay monthly or pay yearly and save some money. Their support team is quick at responding and very helpful too.
I’m very satisfied with it.
I was looking for a website builder that give me as an artist the possibility to show my work in a visual - cool - look, with different features and templates. For me id was easy to operate with, but i have to say: I work as a online-producer and webdesigner so i have practical experience.
But -lot of my friends use AllYou and even for them was the handling easy.
The founder of AllYou had the idea to create a website builder for people in the creative business. Well done!
all you is quiet ok, easy and simpel to use. wath i rely don’t like that you can’t safe the page on a safe copy on there surfer.
i would recommend it as a platform.
I've been using AllYou for about 2.5 years now and i haven't changed my layout since then (only minor tweaks here and there). I would definitely recommend it just because it is simple, timeless, and easy to use. I helped a friend set up her website via square space, and it was definitely harder to create a page on there than on AllYou.
However, there are some things I would change like how square space has the logo option for direct click-through links, or how AllYou embeds your online shop (i think theres better options for that elsewhere). Also, I've had instances where my website doesn't work and the whole host is down. (i've seen this happen on SquareSpace too, so I guess thats just how the internet works) which sucks. but even then it still hasn't made me leave them!
I test many website as FORMAT / SQUARESPACE / CARGO ... i tried and used them one by one for some years before to fin ALLYOU and i m completly happy of it ! I will definetly recommend AllYou website ;)
I can recommend it, yes. but I also have to admitt, that i didn‘t spent too much time to check out the possibilities. I am a bit pragmatic in my attitude to work.
I like it. What I don't like is that other people can see the commercial of AllYou on my website. I am probably switching to Squarespace though cause they have a way more templates.
They are Austrian and when i was building the site no help line chat was available. It would take them until the next business day to get back to me if i had inquiries because of time difference.
I like it very much ! Easy to use, cheap, clean and nice designs, super support - Swiss professionality. I miss the shop so I am building a new one with word press now
I’m happy with AllYou. It’s quite easy to handle - even for greenhorns like me. And I like the design/layout/appearance.
I am quite happy with AllYou and would recommend it. However, it depends very much on the users needs. For others there might be some features missing.
This is the way to go with AllYou based on my dxperience (probably with any other website builder too): - make your initial perfect design (draw it or do it in Indesign or whatever) - create your perfect website structure - now you‘re ready to begin with the builder - with AllYou pick the closest theme and modify it to get as close to your original design as possible - fill in content
Yes it is a good site. Easy to use and responsive design …
I am happy with AllYou and can recommend it. I do not know other PB, but to me AllYou is easy to build, has many layout-possibility and offers a good price (for what it is)
i would recommend it! i have to accounts
I do use Allyou and I can definitely recommend it ! It's easy and they're are super reactive and available for any questions...!
I wouldn't recommend it. We might switch too. Options to customize are complicated and do always work. Not that great.
We recommend AllYou for displaying portfolios of visual work in a minimalist fashion. In other words, a simple site that gets to the point.
We searched for months for a website builder like AllYou, including looking at WordPress solutions (insanely complicated, we think). Nothing worked for us for one reason or another, usually because the site builders had too much blather, or scrolling, or animation, or visual candy, with little added value / substance. In addition, none of them created portfolios -- by which we mean a hierarchical, filterable grid of clickable main project images that lead to detailed images of each project. Seems like it should be easy to find, but it isn't.
We find AllYou simple to use and update. Don't expect it to do any more than it does. If you want pyrotechnics, you'll want to use a different web builder.
Our most serious criticism of it is that the viewer has to click on the intro/splash page in order to advance to the actual site. We've asked AllYou to set things up so that the splash page fades away by itself without the viewer's intervention. To date, we don't know if they are going to include that option.
I would recommend it, yes. It’s customisable, and quite easy to use.
I'm quite happy with allyou.
I'm not looking for more at the moment because I'm not working as an independant designer any more.
we are using AllYou and it’s easy to use and it work’s well for our needs.
I am happy with Allyou. I also appreciate the customer service. They respond fast and efficient. Allyou covers all my needs.
I am pretty happy about it. Works out really fine to me, nothing to complain about :)
It is very easy to manage and I love the styles/templates AllYou offers.
I would definitely recommend it.
I can recommend it. It’s quite easy to use!
Also the help desk works quite great.
i am very satisfied and do recommend it.
I am using AllYou and would recommend it :)
I love it. Super easy to build and navigate. Good customer service. 10 out of 10 stars.
I think it’s quite easy to use, the support is quick.
I’m pretty satisfied. It’s easy and intuitive to use. You dont have too many customization options, but for a simple quick one, it’s good!
I can recommend Allyou. I could use it very quick without too many explanations. Its easy to handle.
i would definitely recommend Allyou, its a great tool to create your portfolio.
ist great and easy to use
we use ALLYOU and we are satisfied .
I like it. What I don't like is that other people can see the commercial of AllYou on my website. I am probably switching to Squarespace though cause they have a way more templates
i recommend it. it is very easy to use. there could be more modern templates....they all look quite the same...
I would recommend it, it’s easy to use and it looks quite “professional”. Furthermore, there is no advertising for allyou on my website, and I can use my own domain name.
I did not know nothing about create and develop a website, I found AllYou who has a very good platform of creation with so many tools.
All You helps me a lot when I want to make a quick modification and customize my website.
I rely like it and do recommend it.
It is very easy and great results for a portfolio, mainly for art, photography, fashion, architecture,...
I'm working with it since a few years and I like it, it's easy to use.
Yes it works well and to me seems like money well spent…
I would recommend it. There are a lot of posibilities to create your site and its easy and self explanatory. Its great for creative people.
I would absolutely recommend it. It’s perfect for my business and really easy to build and use.
I like it it is not hard to build it and very easy to update your contend.
I can absolutely recommand it. Not only the technical aspects are great but also the service is superb!
I would recommend it. Easy to use and a good support.
I would recommend it!
working great...! it needs a lil time to check the system - but it has a lot of options. i love it...
I can recommend it absolutely! young swiss company, and they respond very quickly if there are questions
I would recommend allyou" as a portfolio website, very easy and friendly interface and i like the themes.
i’m not hosting it by myself but our host is very happy with it.
I do recommend it, easy to use and well designed templates.
I have no complaints concerning AllYou so yes I would recommend it.
I would recommend it.
I would recommend it. I think after the first steps it`s quite simple to use and you can always change thinks quickly.
I would recommend. I tried different website builders, this seemed the best. Also very easy usage and building of (a simple website) was very easy.
I highly recommend it :)
I can recommend it. The service is really friendly and helpful. Also they do respond pretty quickly. The building up the page also is really userfriendly and does not require any special knowledge.
I think it’s very good. Super easy to do yourself and the customer service is second to none.
I’m not sure I am fan, downloading process is very time consuming - that’s why I’m not updating the web that often/(
I would recommend it!
I can recommend it as it is super easy for me to handle, make adaptions and changes. I like it simple so I like the way its built...
i would recommend it. But i have to be honest. now im able to do stuff by meyself on it but i needed help of a friend with more computer experience, because im really bad with computers... and to set it all up i was struggeling. and there were also some wishes i couldnt realise...
I can absolutely recommend Allyou! It is very easy to use and has great design templates! And they have good customer support. It is especially likeable to me as they are a local business from Zurich, hence „Made in Switzerland“ ;)
I DO….AND ITS ONE OF THE BEST I THINK…….
We like AllYou. It is very easy to use. The Templates that the have are well conceived.
I would recommend it, it's a bit pricey but it's easy to use and there's a lot of variations in the templates.
I’m satisfied with AllYou. For the amount of time input, it is satisfactory.
i can recommend allyou - very simple to use. i’m happy with it. i havent go any comparison though…
i can recommend it. it was easy to use.
Allyou is excellent for fast, photo-heavy portfolio sites.
We find that while it is an easy to use click and drag builder for websites, it can be limiting and doesn't have some features that, for example, Wix would have
I did my website with allyou. It´s pretty easy to use, you can modify as much as you like the pre designed templates. Yes I would recommend this platform to build any webpage.
Just one detail that I can complain about is that you can´t have your e-mail linked, like the window where the client can contact you directly from the page. Maybe by coding you can manage it to make it work, i don´t really know.
I am using AllYou, because I really like the design. But I am about to change because Allyou doesn’t facilitate current safety requirements by now. It’s a pity.
It’s ok. Was better before they changed features, got more complex.
