Great platform and host, customer service-24/7 by phone - yes! We have 2 sites.
I would definitely recommend it. It looks and feels a lot like using WordPress. So if you are familiar with WordPress this will be a snap.
There are hundreds, if not thousands, of third party apps that extend functionality. Some are free but most are subscription.
The shipping functionality is excellent. No need for subscription to third party apps like ShipStation. It now does most of what is needed.
The part that can use the most help is the analytics. But you can still dump data into Excel and do what is needed.
Overall, great platform.
Shopify for me is ok I use it more as a way of keeping my inventory in some sort of order I recommend it 100% for people just starting out
Shopify is pretty intuitive and easy to use. One of the downsides is that you have to purchase alot of apps to supplement certain features.
We switched 1.5 years ago and love it, much better for changes and sales than our past open shop site. I would reccomend for sure.
Shopify is extremely user friendly. The best we have used yet.
we are using Shopify for our ecommerce which integrated very well with our POS system and would recommend it. :)
I'm using Shopify and happy with it.
I would recommend it for many reasons: easy set up, you don't need to focus on tech (technology is up to them)...I've set up the store in just a few days.
I'm a superfan of Shopify.
We've used it for over 5 years and have been very happy with it. I'm always thankful to have an ecommerce site that's up-to-date from a tech standpoint (with very little effort). A milestone for us was able to print shipping labels directly.
I would highly recommend Shopify as it is a great system we use for our customers orders and it is very friendly use! :)
It is ok. Google shopping doesnt work outside of America though and hasn't for a couple of years. So if you want to loose access to a large market place it might not be for you. Otherwise probably same as the others.
we are happy. It is easy, they assist you when you have problems, it is integrated with social media. There are also some improvements that could be done of course, but overall we are satisfied
i think its great but it does have it limitations for me … i rent things, not buying, so my case may be a bit different. if you are just selling, then i think its pretty good….wish you could pick from more templates of how the page looks
We have been using Shopify as our platform and have been very happy with the choice.
In the past we've used WooCommerce but are very satisfied with Shopify. It is easy to use especially adding new products and also fulfilling the orders. We are able to print the shipping labels and create new discount codes very easily.
The best thing that I like about Shopify is that we can use many 3rd party apps without it affecting our website. We had this problem with Woocommerce where everytime Wordpress is upgraded some of the plugins stop working and do not work. But not the case with Shopify.
It meets our needs for the time being. Easy to use and user friendly.
Its definitely easy to use. I struggled for years on the econmerce, as selling on marketplaces was a lot easier, but then i found shopify who makes it very essy to Move your db from a marketplace to a site Yeah i definitely thank those guys for existing!
I would recommend using Shopify for sure. Very easy to use! We use White Water Web to help us design the site and they are experts in setting up Shopify sites.
shopify works really well. It does fit my purposes and is foiendly user.
Never ha any problem and I am using it for the last 1 year.
I would say that it is definitely a fairly user-friendly platform. There are also a lot of apps that work well with Shopify which is very helpful.
There are some aspects of it which require a little more trial & error ... thankfully I had someone explain most of the ins-and-outs and the website was already set up when I came on board with the company, so I can't comment on how challenging it is to set up.
I think we would give it a thumbs up. It's not without it's limitations, and the cost of various apps required to enhance performance can add up. Fairly easy to manage, I think.
I think it's a great organised resource for companies to use. It's very easy to understand and you can extract quite a bit of information from it. Definitely recommend :)
I definitely would. Lots of tools to create a solid functioning site and if there's a needed function unavailable, there are lots of apps to add to create that function.
I would recommend it. They handle the payment processing which is a huge headache to try to do on your own. Also there are a lot of apps that work with it.
For eccomerce, hands down the best. Unless you have more than 100 SKUs. Shopify Plus plan for bigger inventory is way too expensive as I've been told.
Very happy with everything that comes with our platform, reports, analytics, apps, templates, support.
A benefit to Shopify over other e-commerce service providers is that they have internal credit card processing & merchant banking. We did not need to setup a separate credit card processing account.
Shopify gets the job done. We are just beginning to ramp up the sales process, so if Shopify falls short, we have not yet discovered the deficiency. Many additional integrated apps helps to improve functionality.
I would recommend Shopify. I used it for building my website when I first started. It was user friendly for a non-technical person such as myself. That was 4 or 5 years ago and it has been consistent, has great analytics, and still is user friendly.
I chose not to use Shopify as a payment gateway when they first opened that up a couple of years ago...mainly because I read feedback of users at the time that were unhappy with the speed of deposits and such. Probably kinks they have worked out since then!
Before signing up with Shopify, I started with BigCommerce and honestly it was more difficult to understand for me when it came to setting up my website so I cancelled it. I am happy with Shopify and recommend them all the time!
We started using Shopify just under a year ago and so far we are pretty happy with it.
We love the ease of use when it comes to changing aspects of our site (artwork, stock management, pages) and the fact that it is easy to add or remove apps based on our wants and needs. We’ve also been very lucky to work with a great team of external developers who have built us a bespoke site, which is then easy to maintain.
The processing of orders, contacting the customers (where needed) and managing our stock inventory is also super easy, thanks to the various apps available.
We are not so impressed with the fraud analysis we get for each order, this has become more of a problem over the last few weeks, due to an increase in overall traffic and the Shopify support squad can only give us limited information relating to this and have made it clear that we as a merchant are responsible for any issues we face using the Shopify payment gateway.
I started using Squarespace at first. After two or three months I decided to look for other options and then I moved to Shopify. I thought Squarespace had great design (better than Shopify) but it lacked features I needed for my e-commerce.
I am enjoying Shopify at lot. I built everything from a basic free template. I hired one expert to just organize the content in tabs (although I could use an app for that) and open the size chart as a pop-up.
There are multiple apps you can use to add resources to your website to help you manage it. I like how they were able to make things modular and you can do a lot by just adding modules" you need.
I like how I can manage orders, capture payments, payment options and even shipping.
In summary, I am happy with the resources it offers versus the monthly fees I pay for it.
I’ve only had experience of Shopify and Mr Site and I would recommend Shopify every time. Mr Site was not good at all.
Shopify is really easy to use and great for creating a website to sell products and also good if you have no knowledge of building a website.
The only downside is there is no email package with it.
We would definitely recommend it to other retailers.
You can choose from a lot of paid templates (some are free) and make your shop stand out. The everyday administration of the store is very easy. Also, Shopify's help center is very good, the newsletters are actually really educational and full of helpful information.
Of course, we would be happier, if Shopify supported a multi-language store (and was cheaper) but you get quite a lot for your money.
We really enjoy Shopify for our business needs so far. Their support is helpful and the available apps for integration make adding new features to our platform easy.
The platform is generally good especially if you have to sync an online store with a real shop, but there are issues, and I find their support very frustrating. Lots of positivity from “gurus” who wish you a really great day!" but don’t actually answer your questions or fix your problems. I hope that there will be a good alternative soon so that they sharpen their game and their pricing a bit.
We have recently switched to Shopify in the past year, and we really like it. It makes processing sales streamline. Shopify also works with several other apps that are crucial to our sales. They also have great customer support.
I really like Shopify. After 17 years of working with an out-dated host, it's a dream. Even the least expensive program does great stuff. Sales are up, too.
Shopify is a very simple e-commerce platform to use for those of us who aren’t developers. They are very receptive to feedback and have been phenomenal at implementing suggested features.
There are some limitations but nothing that outsourcing some development work can’t solve.
Absolutely, Shopify is the best.
I absolutely recommend Shopify!!
I love Shopify
Absolutely great platform for ecommerce!
In short. I love it. Definitely worth it if you have a retail business.
we would definitely recommend Shopify - it is a great and easy to use e-commerce platform.
They are good!
And in next 30-50 years everything will be online!
Most gigantic stores will be out business, now Amazon eating" all this shopping malls.
We do use Shopify and like it so far! However, I am not a developer so unfortunately I am unable to provide further information.
absolutely, shopify is great
We love Shopify as a platform for our website :-)
I'd recommend, as it's easy to manage, with great app store.
100% recommend it!
Shopify has been working well for us. 👍
its a pretty seamless.
We would recommend. Since building our store 2 years ago, there have been new store builders popping up. For a basic startup with limited coding to no coding, which includes payment collections, it's pretty good.
we would totally recommend it
We love it!
I’d recommend it for those who are beginners to websites and ecommerce, or are strapped for time.
very much so. It’s amazing.
I'm happy with shopify, easy to use and to communicate with.
I would, it’s very good.
I would highly recommend it. There's no better e-commerce platform out there.
Yes - it's pretty good platform - real easy to operate. The only issue is that some of the apps are overwriting the information that is coming from the platform and it all needs additional adjustment.
I think its ok there are a few improvements that could be made but as an off the shelf pretty good.
Yea we like it. Shopify alone isn’t enough, depending on wha my you need, but they have their App Store which fills in the gaps
We do use Shopify and love it. It is very user friendly and easy to use.
I would recommend it if easy and effective ecommerce is the goal of the website. If a photographer is just looking to present a gallery to the Internet then Wordpress would be a better choice.
I would highly recommend shopify.
we love Shopify! They are super helpful and I use the chat at least 5 times a week for questions:)
I would highly recommend Shopify payments are on time no problems they real professionals better than PayPal
I love shopify - i think is really one of the most robust platforms for the money out there. The editing is pretty easy and it is rich in features. I have used others that were much more difficult
Yes have used it since 2015. Recently redesigned but still on the shopify platform.
I sure do use shopify and highly recommend it. I switched from big cartel 18 months ago.
I like it. I've used both Shopify and BigCommerce and like Shopify a little better.
Yes massively recommend! So easy and intuitive to use, and they have brill 24/7 service.
I can recommend it because its easy to set up and use.
shopify is great, however, it does have it's limits when running a larger store..
I would recommend Shopify. As a Shopify mentor and coach, it's a must!
We're happy with Shopify!
We like it!
